Meet Ryan

Hi, I’m Ryan Plattenberger. I grew up in Mount Carroll, Illinois and graduated from Western Illinois University with my bachelor’s in science. Before coming to Farm Bureau Financial Services, I was in the education field for 13 years. After my time in education, I spent nine years as a financial rep and manager. My wife, Liz, and I enjoy watching our girls, Emily and Tess, participate in school sports and activities in our free time.  I also enjoy playing golf, even though I am not good!

As a District Manager, my goal is to develop new agents to take care of their client/members’ financial security and help experienced agents continue to grow and retain their current clients.

I am looking for agents who are motivated, honest, hard-working and wanting to give back to their communities.
