What is National Boss’s Day?
Boss’s Day is a day set aside for employees to show appreciation for the inspirational managers and leaders in their lives. This holiday is celebrated annually on October 16th, and was created in 1958 by Patricia Bays Haroski. She was working as a secretary for her father and believed bosses deserved a day to be recognized for their strong leadership and guidance.
Fun Fact: Patricia chose October 16th as the day to celebrate because it was her father’s birthday!
